1. Who is responsible for your information
Mandy A. Lee, operating under the commercial name Selling Freedom™ - International Real Estate (“Selling Freedom,” “we,” “us” or “our”), is responsible for the processing of your personal information.

2. Where this notice applies
This notice applies when you use sellingfreedom.mx, submit an inquiry or intake form, create or use a buyer, seller, affiliate, broker or team account, upload documents or photographs, sign an agreement, communicate with us, or receive real estate and related administrative services from us.
3. Information we may process
Depending on your relationship with us, we may process the following categories:
- identity and contact information, including legal name, email, telephone or WhatsApp number, preferred language and contact preferences;
- account and security information, including login credentials, roles, permissions, session information and access records;
- buyer and renter requirements, including budget, preferred locations, property characteristics, timing, financing needs and communications;
- seller, owner and property information, including ownership details, private address, legal description, price, availability, property condition and listing preferences;
- identification, ownership and transaction documents, including official identification, title or escritura, trust documents, predial or cadastral records, utility bills, powers of attorney, corporate ownership documents, condominium documents, surveys, ejido documents, tax or closing documents and materials requested by a notary or other transaction professional;
- photographs and other files you provide, including property, profile and, where relevant, pet photographs;
- agreement and signature information, including representation selection, commission terms, electronic signatures, signature date and time, document versions, document hashes, limited technical evidence such as browser information, and security-protected network identifiers;
- lead, inquiry and relationship records, including source, referral or affiliate attribution, assigned team member, status, notes, follow-ups, messages and interaction history;
- transaction, commission and payment-administration information; and
- technical information used to operate and secure the service, including device and browser information, authentication records, language preference and referral-attribution identifiers.
We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information unless it is strictly necessary for a specific service or legal requirement. If sensitive information becomes necessary, we will request the consent required by applicable law.
4. Necessary purposes
We process personal information for the following purposes that are necessary to establish, maintain and administer our relationship with you:
- responding to inquiries and contacting you about the request you submitted;
- creating, authenticating, securing and supporting accounts and portal access;
- understanding buyer or renter requirements and identifying potentially suitable properties;
- conducting seller and property intake, confirming identity, ownership or authority, reviewing submitted information and preparing a property for possible publication;
- reviewing, approving, publishing, updating or removing property information and media;
- preparing, reviewing, signing, storing and providing representation, commission and related transaction documents;
- coordinating with owners, co-owners, buyers, renters, agents, brokers, developers, notaries, escrow providers and other participants where needed for a requested service or transaction;
- creating and managing leads, assignments, referrals, affiliate attribution, commission records, service history, follow-ups and internal operational records;
- sending service messages, account invitations, signature requests, security notices and other transactional communications;
- preventing fraud or misuse, maintaining security and audit records, resolving disputes, establishing or defending legal rights and complying with applicable law; and
- maintaining accurate business, tax, transaction and professional records.
5. Optional marketing purposes
With separate consent where required, we may use contact information to send newsletters, market reports, property updates, invitations or promotional communications. Refusing or withdrawing marketing consent does not affect access to our real estate services.
Newsletter subscriptions are presently managed through Beehiiv. When you choose to subscribe, Beehiiv's own privacy terms also apply. Account, transaction and agreement emails are service messages and are managed separately from newsletter subscriptions.
6. Sharing and service providers
We may disclose or make information available, only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, to:
- co-owners and other authorized parties connected with the same property or transaction;
- cooperating agents, brokers or agencies, developers, property owners, notaries, escrow providers, attorneys, accountants and other professional advisers involved in a requested service or transaction;
- technology providers that host, store, secure or transmit information on our behalf, currently including Netlify, Supabase and Resend, and Beehiiv when you separately subscribe to the newsletter;
- government, regulatory, judicial, tax or law-enforcement authorities when disclosure is legally required; and
- a successor or authorized participant in a reorganization, sale or transfer of the business, subject to applicable privacy requirements.
Some technology providers may process information outside Mexico. We use providers to perform defined services on our behalf and require information to be handled for those purposes. Where consent for a transfer is legally required, we will request it.
We do not sell personal information.
7. Public property information
Information approved for a public listing (such as property description, approximate or published location, price, features and selected photographs) may be displayed publicly and shared through real estate, broker, affiliate, social or marketing channels. Ownership documents, official identification, private contact details, signatures and internal records are not intended for public display.
Seller edits remain subject to internal review before publication.
8. Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and the service, including account permissions, restricted document storage, audit records and encrypted transmission. No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for the time needed to provide the service, administer the relationship, meet tax, professional and legal obligations, preserve agreement and transaction records, resolve disputes and enforce rights. When information is no longer required, it may be deleted, anonymized or securely archived as permitted by law.
9. Your ARCO rights, revocation and limits on use
You may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate or incomplete information, deletion where legally available, or objection to specified processing (the “ARCO rights”). You may also request to revoke consent or limit the use or disclosure of your information.
Send a request to hola@sellingfreedom.mx with: your name; a way to verify your identity or authority; the right you wish to exercise; a clear description of the information concerned; information that helps us locate the record; and the email or other method by which you wish to receive the response. We may request additional information reasonably needed to verify and process the request.
We will respond within the time and in the manner required by applicable law. Some requests may be limited where retention or processing is required by law, contract, professional responsibility, the rights of another person, or the establishment or defense of legal claims.
You may stop promotional email using the unsubscribe method in the message. You may also ask us to add your details to an internal exclusion list for optional marketing.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
The website and portals use limited first-party cookies or similar identifiers to maintain secure login sessions, remember language preference and preserve referral or affiliate attribution. These support requested site functions and internal attribution. We do not currently use third-party advertising pixels or behavioral advertising cookies.
You may restrict cookies through your browser, although blocking essential session cookies may prevent account and portal features from working correctly.
11. Children
Our services are not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from a minor without the involvement and authorization required from a parent, guardian or legal representative.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice to reflect changes in our services, technology or legal obligations. The current version and its effective date will be published at sellingfreedom.mx/privacy. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide any additional notice or request any additional consent required by law.
